Order Processing

While we are making a significant effort to fulfill orders and maintain inventory, we operate as a small team that handles packing, soldering, assembly, and quality assurance personally to ensure every product meets our standards before shipping. If you change your mind after ordering and your order has not been shipped or is delayed, please contact us at alxvlabs2025@gmail.com, and we will provide a refund with no questions asked.

  • Orders are typically processed within 1-3 business days after payment confirmation.
  • You will receive an email confirmation with tracking information once your order has shipped.
  • Business days are Monday through Friday, excluding holidays.

Shipping Methods and Timeframes

We ship all Canadian and US orders from our Toronto location, with delivery typically taking 3-10 business days. You'll receive a shipment notification email with tracking information when your order ships. Please allow up to 72 hours for your tracking number to become active.

Shipment Carriers: We currently ship via Canada Post and Purolator.

Local Pickup (Toronto Area)

This service is only available to people that live in Ontario that are willing to pickup at  our location in Toronto, Ontario.

We offer FREE local pickup at our Toronto location for all orders. To use this option:

  1. Select "Local Pickup" during checkout
  2. Wait for our confirmation email that your order is ready for pickup, contact information will be provided to you at this time.
  3. Bring a valid photo ID that matches the name on the order confirmation
  4. Come to our location during business hours (Monday-Friday, 10 AM - 6 PM)

Orders are typically ready for pickup within 1-3 business days after order confirmation. Local pickup orders not collected within 7 days may be returned to inventory and considered cancelled and refund will be processed for cancelled orders.

International Shipping Policy

We ship to the following selected countries

We ship to the following international markets using tracked services through Canada Post and Purolator:

  • United Kingdom: Shipping rate will be calculated at checkout
  • Australia/New Zealand: Shipping rate will be calculated at checkout

Please allow 2-4 weeks for delivery to international destinations due to customs processing and international transit times.

If your country isn't listed and you're interested in ordering, please contact us at alxvlabs2025@gmail.com for shipping availability. Note that we cannot ship to countries with import restrictions that we're currently unable to meet.

Battery Restrictions: International orders outside the US and Canada must be purchased without batteries due to shipping regulations. Customers will need to acquire compatible batteries locally after delivery.

Important Customs & Duties Information

International customers are advised that:

  • Import duties, taxes, and tariffs are determined by your country's customs authority upon arrival
  • These fees are separate from and in addition to our shipping costs
  • We cannot predict these charges as they vary by location and product value

Special Notice for US Customers:

  • While our products qualify as Canadian origin under CUSMA/USMCA, US Customs may still apply tariffs based on their determination of origin
  • Recent US-China trade tensions have resulted in increased scrutiny and potential tariffs on products containing Chinese components
  • Even though our products are designed, 3D printed, and assembled in Canada, the presence of Chinese electronic components may trigger tariff assessment at US customs
  • These potential tariffs are entirely the responsibility of the buyer and cannot be refunded by our company

By placing an order, you acknowledge that you are responsible for any additional duties, taxes, and tariffs that may be levied upon import into your country.

Electronic Products Notice

Our electronic toys shipped within Canada and to the US contain lithium-ion batteries and are shipped in compliance with international regulations. For all other international destinations, products are shipped without batteries as noted above.

Some shipping restrictions may apply to certain locations due to product regulations or carrier limitations.

Shipping Restrictions

  • We are unable to ship to P.O. boxes.
  • Certain products may have special shipping requirements or restrictions.
  • For international orders your item will be required to purchase without a battery due to shipping restrictions.

Shipping Delays

  • Shipping carriers may experience delays due to weather, holidays, or other unforeseen circumstances.
  • We are not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers or customs.
  • During peak seasons (holidays, special promotions), processing times may be slightly longer than usual.

Multiple Package Shipments

  • Larger orders may be divided into multiple packages for more efficient shipping.
  • You will receive tracking information for each package if your order is split.
  • All packages should arrive within the timeframe specified for your chosen shipping method.

Lost or Damaged Packages

  • If your package is lost or damaged during transit, please contact us within 7 days of the expected delivery date.
  • We will work with the shipping carrier to resolve the issue and may require photos of damaged items.
  • Replacement items will be shipped once the claim is verified. However if product is out of stock a refund will be issued.
